We consist of professionals from library and information related organisations, who share a common interests in the area of online information services. EAOLUG is a local online group with links to the national group, UK eInformation Group (UKeiG). Reports of the EAOLUG activities are published in the 'News@UKeIG' newsletter
Our Aims
- to facilitate contact between information professionals in East Anglia
- to enable members to keep abreast of developments within the information field
Our Activities
The programme is arranged by a conveners' group. Group members are canvassed for suggestions for topics of meetings: the interests of the Group are broad, covering the field of traditional online searching of bibliographic databases, patent searching, CD-ROM technology, copyright issues, the Internet and World Wide Web resources, etc.
